Ellen Baker

Dr Ellen Baker is an American physician and a NASA astronaut, who serves as Chief of the Education/Medical Branch of the NASA Astronaut Office. Ms Baker is a veteran of three Space Shuttle missions, with Atlantis STS-34 (1989), Columbia STS-50 (1992), and Atlantis STS-71 (1995). Dr Kass represented the European Space Agency in a working group organized by the National Space Biomedical Research Institute (NSBRI) on Multicultural and International Issues in Space-Flight Research and Health Care, in which Ellen Baker participated.
